Accreditation For Inspection Bodies
All organizations seeking accreditation as an Inspection Body must meet the general requirements of ISO/IEC 17020:2012.
An inspection body has to demonstrate that:
- It is competent to perform specific inspections or specific types of inspections.
- It's quality system is documented, fully operational and addresses and conforms to all elements of ISO/IEC 17020-2012,
- It is operating in accordance its quality system.
